SOLUTION
3 Superfast case packers (plus one to be installed by the end 2022) placing fresh pasta thermoformed plastic trays in a standing position inside wrap around cases. As the cases exit the machines they are moved to the next room by means of elevators and ceiling roller conveyors made by MAD to be palletized. The system handles up to 6 different references, the products are sent to the right palletizing station thanks to a barcode scanner. The complete pallets are then transported on an automated shuttle on rails to the stretch wrapper. The entire system, including all the integrated devices, is controlled by MAD’s BRAIN software.
